Went into their scripted cc processing deal.
Told them, we only take cash and checks. We have no need for cc processing.
Discussed back and forth about giving our customers another way to pay for things.
Told them, I don't believe in charging plastic and having debt with big companies.
Pay cash/check or go somewhere else for our products.
Seemed a bit taken back about that.
Called and asked to speak to the owner. I said, "Look, take me off your list and pay better attention to the national do not call registry as I am on that."
She said she wasn't soliciting and would call back another day when i was in "a better mood"
Called asked for owner, "not available" asked for co-owner "not available" I ask if they would like to leave a message? No and hung up. This will make the 6th phone number I will block on my system for these clowns. They just keep adding phone numbers and calling, I know them as Crescent Processing, CPC and also as Atrium. All peddling the same scam of credit card processing service.
Just got a call from this number. I answered, heard a lot of call-center, sweatshop background noise and finally someone gets on the call, "Hello?" I asked if she was on an autodialer and she hung up. I would have told her that if she's going to make these annoying calls, the least she can do is pay attention. I added this number to my "Junk" directory, thus, they will be blocked from this point forward. Way to run a business, whoever you are.
