Got a call from this number. The man identified himself as from firefighter association, asking donation for volunteer firemen. I am questioning their legitimacy, since I don't live in Los Angeles area.
Another call that hangs up on my answering machine. So sick of these! This one came on Sunday night at 8:45 pm in the middle of Labor Day weekend. Leave me alone! When l called the number back, l got a recording that they do fundraising for charities, and for more information, press l. No option to take me off their calling list, though l'm not surprised. I won't give money to any charity that solicits me over the phone. I don't know if they are a legitimate charity, but if so, they're not subject to the Do Not Call Registry.
