I was contacted once sometime a few months ago from a company asking for my father's information in regards to a claim filled against him. Thought nothing of it, passed the message along to him.
Yesterday I was contacted by the SAME company asking for my boyfriend so he could give them his dad's ssn to verify it was him. They left an elaborate detailed vm on my phone for my boyfriend. When I called and asked how they got my number, they said it was under his dad's ssn. Which was bull, I've had this number almost 10 years before I met him. It has no ties to him, to my boyfriend, to anyone but me. On top of that, they asked for my boyfriend by his middle name instead of his legal name, and the fact they asked for him that way was a big red flag.
The number is based in California and is 626-531-0697. They've never contacted the person directly, just people that know them who can maybe give out their ssn. If this number calls you, report it to the federal trade commission. The lady informed me he broke a lot of laws. Their number is 1 877-382-4357, they'll give you a confirmation number and you can follow up on it.
Make sure you let people know, it is getting close to the holidays.
Some lady named scarlet called from an 818 number regarding alligations against me and to call this number of the firm handling my case and it goes to the desk of Calvin as does this number 626 219 2691 there are other numbers reported on here for them. She leaves a very lengthy message. Which if legit all they would do is ask for call back
