Received a call and they left a message stating I will go in front of a jury and be prosecuted and go to jail if I don't pay this money. This is a scam becusue the IRS would never use these tactics.
Long prerecorded message about taking me to jail...hung up and blocked the number. Some guy with heavy Indian/Pakistani accent. It is at this time of year that these people really prey upon decent, law-abiding citizens.
Left 2 messages on my phone. When I called back they told me I had unpaid taxes from 2010 (which I don't). Said I would be taken to jail. I hung up, this is obviously a scam, I have no unpaid taxes.

Just received a message, too. Very similar to the ones described above: very heavy accent, mentioned "federal issue" and "grand jury," told me to call back immediately so they could "help with the situation."
