Received a call and they left a message stating I will go in front of a jury and be prosecuted and go to jail if I don't pay this money. This is a scam becusue the IRS would never use these tactics.
I too got a call from this number from someone with very thick accent stating "executing for the the US treasury intending to see my intention. Very broken english and hard for my message system to translate to email. This is the first time I have received a call from this number but have in the past received these types of calls with no ultimate action taken. I believe to be another scam coming from new number.
I received the same message first it was from (626) 692- 6813. Then (626) 692-7020. Heavy Accent man claiming to be Steve Martin with US Treasury I haven't answered call , went straight to voice mail. Will answer next time or should I ignore
THIS IS A SCAM I got a message with a heavy acent as well saying something about me going to jail help me help you mention federal something. And he repeated the number on my voice mail to make sure i call him back
