Hey, everyone. I am a County Worker with Butte County in California. I believe this phone number is from the automated system regarding CalFresh, CalWorks and Medi-Cal. It sounds like there has been a change, as this number is supposed to be blocked and you cannot call back because there is no one on the other end. If you are experiencing issues, I recommend calling your local Social Services office; either you have opted-in for automated messages or someone else is using your phone number. This could be a typo or a number reported to the county incorrectly. The person you speak to should be able to remove the opt-in status and stop the calls or find out why you are receiving calls if you are not a county benefit recipient.
