Caller keeps calling looking and calling against me fora civil camplaint against me. This makes no sense especially since i do not reside in the state of California. I believe these people may be scam artists wanting to get information to steel our identity!
I belive this to be a collection attorney. They stated there was a civil complaint filed and they were trying to avoid a court hearing or a "failure to appear" on my part. Funny, I haven't received any paperwork from any county court advising me of a suit filed in my name. I think they're using this as their tool to pressure my into paying this debt that I claim not to owe.
