Got a call from this number. 2015 MAR 20 9:30 AM . No message left. [no chance I hung it right up in 1 second] Caller ID shows "Web Ranking". (Reported the first few calls to DNC list - they needed more information than I could get - but I bet NSA knows who they are - or could find out if they were on our side.)
Complaints: ABOUT 603-414-1927 or 631-318-7101
EITHER it is a debt collection company that has bought a account from some one you have done business with and owe them money or they are trying to sell you something. Don't answer those calls at all, some charge.
They call me all the time day and night so I googled what are the rules for dept collector and found a lot of information that can stop them from calling you your friend neighbors and your job. They are violating the rules big time and can be sued up to $1500 for each violation so talk to them keep record get a address names fax numbers etc and after collecting all the information file a complaint with the FCC and the FTC federal communications commission and the federal trade commission and they will tell you what you can do next.
Another option:
The number 603-414-1927 or 631-318-7101 they called, left no message. Have no idea who it is for. Whoever it was didn't bother or harass me as they called my Google Voice Number. All calls go to voice mail. You can choose to have the calls passed on to your home phone or cell phone, with or without screening the caller 1st or go straight to voice mail. You can also choose to block the number.
Google Voice is a great weapon to be used by [***] debt collectors. It is free too! Get your own number, change your current home phone and or cell phone number and never be harassed again. Just make sure you don't call any 1-800 from your new number because these jerk debt collectors will then have your new number. The good thing about Google Voice is that you can call debt collectors (never a good idea, refuse to deal with them and only after they verified they are the true owner of the debt) and they will see your Google Voice number, not your actual number!
It's a carpet cleaning spam call. I pressed '1' to "Schedule an appointment" but when they answered I told them to remove me from their list. She hung up on me immediately.
