Just got a voicemail from "Kim" at bridal registry that I won a bridal package. I only registered at David's Bridal too during the initial intake when I was dress shopping. I called my local David's Bridal location and they said it sounded like a scam- the girl said if it had been them they would've said David's Bridal/Men's Warehouse.
I got a call today from "Private Call", I answered. Listen to everything. Her name is Cathy and her number is 631-683-5129 x:2297. Where she made her mistake. She stated this is not a Time Share. I went on the internet and researched the complaints. If I could bring a friend, I would but she stated I had to bring the groom. The Groom is not going for it. Thanks for the information. Driving to Orland Park, IL is not worth my time or gas. I don't regret giving her my cell because my cell do not accept private calls and I love the BLOCK FEATURE. They can't leave no message because my phone will not allow them.
I received the same call - Also told I was chosen from a recent Bridal Show "Show Bride". They told me they only selected 5% of the brides that attended. Funny thing is my Matron of honor got the same call.... Do you really think My Matron of Honor and I were randomly selected ?!?!?!
Has anyone gone? I don't want to waste my Friday night at this thing. And my Fiance doesn't think its legit either...
Just got a call from a Lakena from this number. I too only registered at Davidsbridal. I didn't call her back. I'm glad I found this site. Well worth me not wasting my time since I am busy planning my wedding.
Yes, I also visited David's Bridal to look for gowns & signed up for their online site. I just received a call from this number today with the same story, that I won a 'bridal package.' They left a voicemail on my phone, but the number was blocked. Sounds like a scam to me too.
