IRS sends letters. They do not call you. Obvious BS and scam. Ignore them and do not call them back. They now keep harrassing us with calls and won't stop. Does anyone know who I can report them to?
Woman with heavy middle-eastern accent says she is from the irs and that I am about to be arrested. Asked for the name of my attorney. I could hear others in the background doing the same thing. Obviously a call-bank for "IRS" scam. Caller ID just said New York.
Got a call from this number due to the automated voice mail call saying it was the IRS calling with an last attempt before a warrant was issued. So i called the number back at 631-238-3016 got a man who said he was IRS special agent Rey Stevens very heavy forgein accent believe india decent asked for his ID and he said 1001000833833524 he asked for the number they called I gave him the number I asked him what they needed I know i owe nothing to the irs and have already recieved my refund and he stated please hold put me on hold and said I can disregard the call it was on accident. Looked into IRS proceedings and it stated they will send you a letter not a phone call and the letter will have a time and date for a first initial interview so fyi i am sure this is a scam worst part they are calling my elderly mothers house

Phone ID will say U.S.goverment and the IRS will send a sheriff too your house in two hrs.They try to keep you on the phone so they can some how charge you a huge phone bill!Don't answer it.They targeted my 86 yr. old mom.
