Everytime you receive a call from a telemarketer, do this:
Get the number they called from.
Call your representatives in Congress and tell them you just received a call from a telemarketer at ( tell them the phone #), then say thank you and hang up.
If the millions of us across the country start doing this, it will annoy and jam their phone lines.
Then the worthless self interest motivated elected officials will put some teeth in the Do Not Call Registry.
The point of doing this is to jam and inconvenience your representatives phones in order for them to take action against these unwanted calls. There are ways to stop these types of reported unwanted calls before they get to our phones, BUT there are currently laws that demand that all phone carriers connect all calls. Put some teeth in the Do Not Call Registry so reported unwanted callers can be stopped by phone number no matter where they are calling from. The law needs to change. If you do not want to take action, pass the word to others that will take action.
