Everytime you receive a call from a telemarketer, do this:
Get the number they called from.
Call your representatives in Congress and tell them you just received a call from a telemarketer at ( tell them the phone #), then say thank you and hang up.
If the millions of us across the country start doing this, it will annoy and jam their phone lines.
Then the worthless self interest motivated elected officials will put some teeth in the Do Not Call Registry.
The point of doing this is to jam and inconvenience your representatives phones in order for them to take action against these unwanted calls. There are ways to stop these types of reported unwanted calls before they get to our phones, BUT there are currently laws that demand that all phone carriers connect all calls. Put some teeth in the Do Not Call Registry so reported unwanted callers can be stopped by phone number no matter where they are calling from. The law needs to change. If you do not want to take action, pass the word to others that will take action.
The calls I'm getting from this number are for health insurance. I receive at lease 3-4 daily from these scum bags. Do they honestly believe that someone would buy from a company that has robocalls going out? Don't wonder why no one respects the US anymore. Our government can't stop illegal phone calls so how could they stop ISIS or anyone for that matter wanting to cause damage to the US. IT's sick.
I guess they are calling to say"hello are you there? " then they hang up. I have reported a list of numbers to NCDA office. I have confirmation letters that they are investigating, meanwhile they said do not answer.
Thank you 1-800 Notes and all of you who left messages! I am a Senior Citizen in Florida and I am a prime target for scammers! I have just about lost everything I owned from scammers. I don't answer the phone anymore that I don't know like 631-883-5142 (especially if they don't leave a message). I grew up in a generation of "Truth & Honesty" and now I don't know who to trust! Thanks to you I have blocked this number and several others! (I'm DEFINETLY on SUCKER LIST somewhere!)
