We changed providers and got a new number a week or two ago and this call comes in pretty much every day. Really irked me, so I signed up for the do not call registry. I did that on Friday night...

I received a call from this number claiming they were the Daily News and would be sending me a free paper which I could subscribe to. I told him that this was a business line and that I did not wish to be contacted again, to please remove me from the list - The man on the other end proceeded to interrogate me, and when I hung up CALLED ME BACK and then argued with my boyfriend on the phone. Ridiculous.
This is now the 3rd time I received teh same type of call from this number with a hang up as soon as I answer. I don't have aiPhone, I actauly have a sidekick. When i return the call all i get is a busy signal.
Well... this is all still going on (the funky phone calls from this NY number). I live in Ohio and have received two calls from this number.... and like everyone else, when I call the number back, it is the same message everyone gets 'all our people are busy'. So, nothing has changed and nothing is going to be done about it?
Same thing for about a month.
I cant believe this cant be tracked down, with all the complaints its been getting.
It would be different if they would just answer the phone.
