We changed providers and got a new number a week or two ago and this call comes in pretty much every day. Really irked me, so I signed up for the do not call registry. I did that on Friday night...

Alright, I picked up and finally somebody spoke today. It's the Daily News and they are asking people if they want to re-subscribe. I had a subscription with them last year so that is how they got my number. I told them not interested, and they finally stopped calling!
I had Cablevision for over 4 years before and never received any sales, unindentified calls, marketing or any other calls. I just switched to Verizon and I am getting tons of calls every single day, inclusive Saturday and Sunday...It's extremely annoying...The number you guys mention here:(631) 963-7520 calls every day, every 20 minutes. No one answers when you pick up, when you call no one picks ups only the answering machine. I've called Verizon and they told me they can't do anything about it unless we subscribe to the number block program for an additional amount per month. I think this is a scam by Verizon to charge you more on your monthly bill. I swear, I never had this problem with Cablevision...ever....now my phone rings all day from 7am to 9pm non stop with telemarketing calls. I used the Do Not call...nothing! If I find something please let us know how to stop this...It's annoying and frustrating to have your phone ring constantly every single day.
