Bought a call blocker on Amazon, and it works great! I blocked this number, so when they try to call again, it rings once, and disconnect them. Bye, bye suckers!!!!
I called the number and got an automated answering system for Tax Time Resolution. I left a v-mail notifying them that my number is registered on the no-call list, to take my number off of their call list, and warned them that if any further calls are received from them, I would report it. I recorded the dates and time of previous calls and am posting this as further record of the actions taken to support a complaint, if necessary.
I have experienced on multiple occasions that by calling the number back, an automated answering system will receive the call with an option that can be selected to be removed from the caller’s call list. After selecting the option to remove my number, I received no further calls. There has been only one instance where I called the number back that I got an actual person receiving the call. I noted the aforementioned about being on a no-call list, etc., but received another call a few days later. I reported the incident, and have not received any further calls.
It is unfortunate that being on the no-call list by itself is not enough, but there is an effective course of action: document, take action, and report if necessary.
