this is not where you tell phone numbers to stop calling you.   answer the phone and actually tell them.
posting here is like me writing on a piece of paper in my house, "Please stop sending me junk mail" then throwing it in the garbage.

I signed up for a TV budle (Internet TV and Phone) Through my local cable company TWC - Because it was cheaper to have the phone than to not have it - This in the beginning perplexed me - I now know why  - I don't have a phone hooked up nor do I even know the phone number - I didn't even want a home phone. However the caller ID that displays on the TV and also on my cell phone because of their app are all Telemarketing numbers - The reason it's cheaper is because the company sells the phone number to these dirtbags that call consistanly.

Just an FYI -
Several posters have commented that they are on the Do Not Call registry/list (DNC). There is a loophole of which many people are unaware. As long as the company that is calling you does not purposely call you directly it doesn't fall under the purview of the DNC until you tell them not to call you again. If they dial you by random Robo dialer it is not considered a direct call therefore it does not fall under the explicit conditions of the DNC registry.
Others have said they believe their number has been sold from another service. That's exactly what is happening. Services like TWC and Facebook tell you right in their terms and conditions that your personal information will be given or sold to their marketing partners. By agreeing to their terms and conditions you are agreeing to let them do just that and have no legal recourse against these actions. One of the reasons why it's very important to read the terms and conditions of any company you do business with, or service you use, to make sure that things like this are not being allowed without your knowledge.
One of the most effective methods of deterring future calls I have found is to block the number they're calling from so the call goes immediately to voicemail. My voicemail message says that I decline any service, promotion, or offer; wish to have my number removed from any calling list; and that any further contact will be considered harassment and could lead to legal action or prosecution.
None of them ever call back.
