This number has been calling my home phone twice a day, every-other day for the past wk. Answered the phone today because I have a house full of sick people & wanted the phone to quit ringing. No answer, but I was "offered" 1) the chance to speak w/ a customer service rep ("Please press 1 now"), 2) have my number put on their "Do not call list ("Please press 2 now") or 3) leave a msg so that one of our customer service reps can call later (Please press 3"). So I pressed "1" & was told if I would please leave my msg a customer rep would call me later, (geez, wasn't that the 3rd option?). So, I hung up & put the number on my call block list. Then just for the heck of it, I called back & opted for the 2nd option. The msg said that my number was off their list, but that it might take an add'l 48 hours before the calls stop. I guess we'll see now.......and as for the DNC list, it worked for about the first 3-4 months, but since then, no so much.....
Rcvd call today from this number. When I answered the woman asked if I was interested in debt relief for unsecured debts. When I said no she started her spiel about what unsecured debt is. When I said I knew what it was and not interested she just continued talking over me so I hung up. Before even looking on 800NOTES I immediately added the number to my reject list on my cell phone. The DNC does not work! Companies have to volunteerly
request the list. Spammers will NEVER do that now would they??
