This is political, but it's from the legitimate animal breeders. The puppy mill people, the ones who you see in the news all the time, aren't organized, and this proposition would do nothing to stop them. It will just hurt the breeders who already undergo government inspections and have to comply with the law. The real need is for more inspectors to catch the puppy mill people who are out and not licensed. Prop B won't accomplish that all. Only raising taxes to pay for more inspectors will do that.
