1/07/17-I got a letter from the motor vehicle services about three days before my "Warranty" on my new car was going to expire. This being my first car(I had it only three weeks) I immediately called the number. It's changed it was a (1-844-398-3636) when they answered I was asked my name and that I was to be called back. 30min later I get a call from (636-685-8305.) the man I spoke to was called ROB. He asked me about the car VIN/Year/Model he than asked if I had any problems with the car.(they obviously knew it was recently purchased) but I told them Yes! that the transmission seemed to be pulling when I hit the accelerator. He then contacted a supervisor who asked me about it. I can't remember his name. I told him about the car pulling and he told me that I should have taken care of it before the expiration. I told him about it being a new car and that I had a one month warranty with the dealership before I knew it I was back on the phone with ROB. He was rude now angry sort of like I got him in trouble. He kept on pressuring me to get the warranty extended. I told him I didn't understand why I had to pay extra out of pocket for this when it was a brand new car. I told him I couldn't pay cause I didn't have the money he told me it didn't matter to him about my car, house, or other payments and that it wouldn't matter to me either if the transmission gave out and I had to pay for labor $128/an hour and the transmission for my car was at $4888, so I needed to give him either a credit card or debit card number so that he could do me the favor of charging me the low monthly payment of $198! I told him I still didn't understand why I had to pay out of pocket for a new car that should still have warranty on it! By this time he just kept on repeating the same thing over and over sarcastically. He asked me if I still didn't understand?! I told him it was he who didnt understand my question! I decided to hang up. He called me back once I didn't answer. After an hour of cooling off I decided to check this number on the internet and I found this site. I decided to call back I spoke to Kyle, I spoke to Dave and then I spoke to Sam who transferred me to ROB!
Well I called asking for questions as to how would it help me since I got the letter in the mail. However their, I suppose, selling skills eventually convinced me to buy the "extended warranty" now I want to cancel it 3 days after and they won't let me. Not sure what to do now...
I received the letter and tried to inquire why I was receiving it but the man was incredibly insulting. He said that I must not have taken care of what I need to otherwise I wouldn't be receiving the letter. When I would try to question him further he just kept speaking over me and saying "What is it that you are not understanding?" I asked if there was someone else I could speak to and he flat out said no. He said over and over "The only reason for you to call is to give me your debit or credit number to receive coverage!" I'm not kidding when I say that he said it over and over and saying that I don't understand what I am taking about. Immediately after I hung up I received a call from 636-685-8305.
The caller was identified as David
