I missed the call. Searched on Yahoo and found a person in MO and this listing for Auto Warranties. Our cell phones are on the do not call list but we can't seem to block the Auto Warranty solicitors. They always call from different numbers. It also seems when you ignore it the number keeps calling, not always in the same day, until the call is answered. Major annoying.
I wonder which genius phone company gave a phone number to Shirley Striker, get it? Shirley the fearless telemarketers striking out on her own into your life at dinner time.
These phone companies are brilliant aren't they. Not their fault of course they just hand out phone numbers according to highly paid senior executive dictat.
4/23/09 I got a call at around 11am from 636-688-5522 and again at 1:46pm , no voice message left , I called this number and it was a non working number.
I have received 2 calls on my cell phone within 5 minutes of each other both from 636-688-5522 and another one yesterday from 708-872-1040. This has been happening for a few weeks. It sounds like the same thing as everyone else, the factory warranty on my vehicle is expiring. This is getting very annoying.
I have a TracFone and just got the same call/same number so its not Verizon - although I do have them for home service. I get charged for calls per minute. This HAS to be illegal, no ?
I have been receiving calls from these numbers for months. It is most distressing. I get charged for the time. Isn't there anything that we can do to stop this nonsense?
