I missed the call. Searched on Yahoo and found a person in MO and this listing for Auto Warranties. Our cell phones are on the do not call list but we can't seem to block the Auto Warranty solicitors. They always call from different numbers. It also seems when you ignore it the number keeps calling, not always in the same day, until the call is answered. Major annoying.
I don't know why you did that, it's not going to stop anything. The number is bogus and has been used as a cover for the scamming company. The poor woman who used to own this number probably had to disconnect her phone because of these idiots. The only way to find out who this is to trace it to the real number and address, not the hoaxed number and address. If anyone posseses the necessary technology to physically trace the number they need to have it called to them directly and then reverse routed using a computer. So if any of you who are reading this forum have that technology please use it!
Obviously we have all been getting calls today and we know this is not "Shirley" from St. Charles. I suggest that the next time this happens we should all come back and post the time and date of the call. To begin to find out who this really is and to provide a criminal log, we need to find a pattern. My phone, which is a Magic Jack, was called at today at 13:23 CST on 4-22-09. Whoever is doing this is breaking Federal Law by hoaxing their information, not to mention various other laws so let's get them.
I just reported two calls on another website that came in today within a little more than an hour of each other. One from 636-688-5522 and the other from 863-904-4827 - these two calls had the same message about a car warranty expiring.
