It's something called Merith (or Merit) and it's a survey company.

Spam

called my DNC listed # of over ten years. If they would do something other than hang up on a VM then I may consider it is NOT SPAM. As long as they fail to ID themselves, they fall into the category of SPAMMERS/SCAMMERS, and CRIMINALS. Blocked now :)

Got a call at 6:36 pm Eastern time tonight. DOES ANYONE FIND IT ODD THAT THE  REPORTS ABOUT THIS # HAVE ONLY BEEN REPORTED W/I THE LAST 2WEEKS??? There are some organization/companies that are legally permitted to call you even if you are on the do not call list. Also, sometimes insurance carriers use 3rd party contractors from other states that work from their home to remind you that your kid needs to go to the dentist, etc... (they don't leave messages b/c of hippa laws if it is a LIVE 3rd party agent). Of course, if it's a scam/spam, they could care less about a do not call list. Survey?..... it's very possible if you recently had a medical appointment, rented a car, or purchased a supplement/medication.

Since you got the call, you certainly could tell us the content, rather than wandering through a series of "it could have beens" or "what ifs".

Describe the call, and somebody will tell you if it was a scam or not.
