This isn't a scam. They just called me a few minutes ago to renew (I do have a AAA account). I gave my information, something I don't typically do easily. The service rep on the line read my AAA account number to me over the phone to confirm they were real.
Harassing debt collectors. Duh - unemployed trying to keep roof over my head! Why would I give my last unemployment check dollars to unsecured debt??? You Credit Card guys changed the rules, won't listen to reason, hide behind your bribed US Congress: go fry ice!
Parents called to say they got a call from AAA at number 636-754-3200. Message said it was a "reminder to renew my AAA services". I've never been a member of AAA. And I haven't lived at home in 25 years, so I have no need to use or give out my parents number. So how did they get it?
i just recd the same # 636-754-3200, she called me and asked my friend's name, i told her that i don't know the person, I thought that my friend uses my information, then i called my friend and confirmed that. i felt so sorry to my friend, so scared about it.
Caller I.D shows AAA. Newsflash-it's a scam and I'm reporting it to the FTC. Not a member of AAA so why would they call to "renew" something that doesn't exist?
