This stupid number calls me everyday at lunch time. I never answer #s that I don't know but after the 2nd week of receiving calls I answered it only to hear nothing and no one talked at the other end. I also tried calling it back on several occasions and no one answers, or it is busy. It is VERY annoying! I called my cell phone company, Cingular, and they said that there is nothin they can do to block the number. They can only block all of the incoming calls. Which I think is silly, why can't Cingular block a phone # ? Then how am I suppose to block a unwanted number?!? Does anyone know if the Do Not Call List really work? Should I call and put my number on that list?
Oklahoma here too, I believe it's the Daily Oklahoman calling as well... I've told them numerous times to remove my name, and they will stop for a few months, then start over again...
called today and spoke to Chris: said he was from the Daily Oklahoman offerring a deal for 3 months of Sunday and Wednesday paper for $15.00. I took the offer. Hope I didn't get screwed because I paid for it with my VISA card.
They call my cell constantly. The above comments about the investigative firm is not correct (thats a diff. co) - its a marketing group that specializes in cold calling. I found their corporate office homepage, so any body annoyed lets email all of them and tell them they think. Im thinking I should email them as often as they bother me.
