Rcvd call- after a few seconds- they asked for a name,without saying anything else, I asked to be added to their no call list. He said "NO"
I asked if knew that he would be violating federal law- he said he didnt' care, I then asked if he would consent to our conversation being recorded, and he said "Yes" so I asked him to confirm his refusal to put our number on the no call list- he then hung up...
I suspect there is and unfurtunate person named Candice Green who is had her number spoofed and used this way with out her knowledge.

Resident received unsolicited land line call from an unknown Indian sounding man who requested to speak with the homeowner or the person who uses a computer. I asked him who he was and he hung up before I could get him to tell me why he called.
Indian guy named Steve who harrassed me over our computer - wanting to speak to my husband. I told him to remove us from their call list and he said it was his responsibility to call all PC & Mac users in the world. He kept repeating over & over "I will call, I will call, I will call". I finally hung up on him.
Indian guy called saying he was calling about problems with my Windows operating system. I questioned him pretty good (since I'm an IT Windows Support professional.) I asked him how he knew I was running Windows and not Linux. What exactly are the problems being reported?. Who should I report the problems to and who could fix them? He responded he could transfer me his partner who would fix all the problems. At that point I finally told him this was a scam. He called me a Bloody Fxxxker and hung up. He called the wrong person :)
I have been getting calls from " Green Candie" almost every day this week I have only answered 2x 's . No one says anything . I have tried to call the number back and get a busy signal..
