Got a text from this random number requesting the purchase of my JL audio speakers I have posted on craigslist. The guy wanted to mail me a check to buy them but couldn't guarantee me a personal check and told me he was too busy to bring cash to me.

Did you cancel it because this person is sorta doing the same thing with us except he somehow knows my husband's first and last name which isn't in the craigslist ad and he askes for our bank info
This guy is a scam artist. He sent us a fake cashiers check and just a few days before the same thing happened to another guy for a large amount. We didn't continue to cash it thank god or else we would have been accessories
