I use a local credit union and have their 'fraud alert' number saved to my phone. Suspicious because this text had two different area codes, neither from my state, I Googled the number and got you fine folks! Thanks for alerting me; I will delete and block the numbers.
Got this # in a text message on my cell phone telling me to call back regarding a problem with my debit card. When you call back, an automated answering system purports to be BOA calling, and advises that your debit card has been 'locked' due to suspicious activity. Then solicits for user account information. Even though I don't even have a BOA account I responded with bogus information just to mess with them!
