I picked up out of curiosity. Didn't say anything. The robo call started anyway claiming to be the return call I requested concerning the back brace offer I saw on TV. All bogus. I hung up - didn't need to hear anymore. Number now blocked.
robo calls come daily from this phone number saying it is "the call you requested about a back brace." We are on the do not call list and never requested any such back brace. Getting 1-2 calls per day
Call came in on Nov 17 while I was in hospital having day surgery. IRONIC! MEDICARE/IDENTITY THEFT scam; they just want your SS#. The very next day got a call from another NYC number: 914-667-3652 that was hawking the "medic alert' system. Variation on the same scam; different number. BOTH Caller ID's said "NEW YORK, NY."
