Called while I was out but fortunately I blocked the entire 646 area code months ago. Don't know anyone there and only got scam calls so took care of the problem. My Panasonic phone can block up to 250 #s and entire area codes. Best investment I ever made!
Curious about what the sales pitch would be, I answered the call. I just answered "What's up?" Immediately, the heavily accented male voice said I qualified for discounts on my medical equipment and to take advantage of this offer, I had to supply my Medicare information as well as 1, possibly 2 credit cards. I told him he was a scammer and to stop bothering people. I know that won't do any good, but it made me feel better. By the way, I have no need for any medical equipment nor am I on Medicare.
There are a couple outfits that advertise heavily on talk radio....The Knee And Back Brace Helpline(or Hotline) and Miracle Back Brace aka/Zero Compression Back Brace. I don't have a clue if either of these co0mpanbies are responsible for the calls but it wouoldn't hurt to look into it. Oh wait..I forgot..These things aren't important to officials be they Federal,State or Local.
