not sure if scam but asked me to attend an interview in Manhattan ny and told me that i have to pay 60 dollar for food holder lis. and that i need to bring my ssn, and id. The office in located in a plaza on a floor.
Received a voicemail on my cell phone this morning from 646-461-6448. Person said she was looking for me(my name) and her name was Rebecca and the reason she was calling was because I applied for a s
"server job"...which sounds like a waitress/waiter/food server \ job which I have not applied for. It sounds like the kind of call Talius describes above. I called the number back twice and got a recording saying "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line for the next available representative." Then there was silence for about 30 seconds and a recoding came on saying "The person at extension 21101 is not available, please leave a message." Then after that the message said the voicemail could not take anymore messages." This is a totally bogus employment scam as far as I can tell and these people should be brought up on charges. But fat chance of that happening.
This [***] asking for 80$ because I have to take a training.... I told her go f herself basically.... These people asking for money when attending the interview is a scam... You looking for a job and this [***] asking for money in slick way... It should have a punch button the phone now days. I would of press it 100 times!!!
