Man with accent wanted to talk to an IT manager who is stationed elsewhere. He claimed to be a college student working on a project, but I could hear other operators in the background. After researching the number on Caller ID and finding similar comments on another site, I transferred him to Purchasing.
Yeah, they just called me too. Sounds like a boiler room operation. Indian accent. He asked for me, by name. When I responded in the affirmative, he hung up on me. It's a scam. Don't answer the phone and block them.
