SCAMMERS!! Please be aware of people r attempting to run this scam all over the US. When I questioned the validity of the 'grant' I was being told about (as I could most CLEARLY hear someone else in the room most likely running the same scam on someone else!) the lady on the other end became QUITE annoyed with me, asking if I wanted the grant or not! After I said no, she abruptly hung up on me!! Please make certain other are aware of this scam & those conducting it before someone TRULY gets taken!!
Called stated I had been awarded a grant. I asked what it was going to cost me and he said paper work would follow. I told him I was not interested and he said I didn't want this money? I said "no" and hung up. I have received 2 more calls and two text since the first call and all are from different numbers.
The Government said I was entitled to $40,000 from the "garble garble" federal agency. I received 4 calls in one day. It's complete and total BS!!! The woman couldn't even speak English very well. Told them they were a joke and they needed to come up with a different "SCAM" if they wanted me to fall for their BS. Reported them to the "no call" list people, y'all should do the same.
