i had the same thang happen to me.......all the time......some foreign guy. a while ago i told him to put my number on his do not call list.....he said the f word.......tonight he called, and i askd to please stop calling me and put my number on do not call list......he threatened me and said he will call any time he wants. when i called the number back......its always busy. this may become a police matter
You can do something else rather than involving the police and it's called completely ignoring unknown callers. This yak knows he'll likely get an answer when he calls, so he keeps calling. Not only that, but he may be keeping track of the times you answer to pass along to other crooks for potential hits. Another thing: anytime you get a random call from a foreigner, assume they've got villainy up their sleeve and hang up immediately. DO NOT waste your time or breath telling them not to call. They don't understand that and often take great offense to it as you found out. I'd compare it to the receiver telling the caller what you say he said to you.
Called my land line and left no message on my VM. Looked up this number further, and found the following:
"I don't know about everyone else, but my caller didn't give me a company name. Says he was with a private branch of the government, that I'd "earned & won" $8000 from a random selection from a list of "good citizens" meeting certain criteria (no DUI's on my record, properly filed taxes for 10 years in a row, not unemployed for more than 30 days in past 5 years, & others). He asked my first name & age. Asked what I would do if I had $8000. Asked me if I had debt from gambling, drugs, or alcohol. Asked my marital status. Asked if I was employed, going to school, or had received government assistance in past 6 months. Then told me to write down 2 numbers (AR123 & 224). Informed me to call a different number in order to follow further steps to get my "prize". That phone# is 206-204-4739 (Seattle,WA). Didn't call. Looked up this number, & blocked it as well as the 206#. Only "personal" information I was honest about was my marital status. Good luck to anyone who falls for this."
Based on this info, this is a scam and needs to be investigated
I keep getting calls from this number they claim to be from the U.S.A. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) I know the IRS don't call they only conduct business by mail so I want this people to stop calling me
