Received a second call today. Foreign accent "my email has had suspicious activity they were closing my account in 24 hours IF I did not go to my computer and allow him access to trace these emails" Dumb but not stupid I hung up again.
A man called this morning and asked for my husband. I asked who he was and he claimed he was from the Republican party.
I called the number back later & the answering machine said the subscriber I dialed number wasn't in service.
I started a log 2 months ago and have listed 202 calls from various numbers. Some are the same, but 90% are different.
Now what do I do with them? Thought about contacting my Senator with the list about some sort of new law that has some teeth to it. With a list of verifiable numbers, it might spur some sort of action. Doubt it tho, we're talking about the government here.
received call from woman with heavy Indian access.. She repeated the "Your computer has malware and please turn it on so we can fix it...I told her I have 4 computers... which one??lost for words
caller ID number is spoofed...number is out of service.
