I've received 2 calls today, both with barely intelligible voicemails left behind. The phone number the calls are coming from: (646) 632-1316, New York, NY. The message "before we proceed further in any legal action. My direct # (646) 632-1316..." it's very clearly a scam, please don't fall for this. If you ever answer, be sure to avoid giving any positive affirmation for any question, i.e. "Yes" or "ok" and the like, as these conversations are likely to be recorded by the scammer. Therefore providing them the option to utilize your positive response as an agreement to anything they want.
Call came in at 8:10AM. Caller ID showed as New York,NY. Call went to voicemail which picked up end of message.

I got a call yesterday from number 646-632-1352 twlling me irs has a warrant for my arrest. They knew my exact address. Told me i owe $4000 in taxes. That's funny because my x had claimed me on his taxes yr of 2011-2016. And they was prepared by a tax preparer. So i told they need to go after him not me lol. Also it was a foreigner woman with a name stacey smith, then i hollered at her [***] then a guy got on the phone telling me he is a officer. I said that's great because i am to. I believe that you are illegally impersonating a federal official. He then got quiet n said nothing so i hung up. So far i have not gotten any calls from them. Stupid [***]
