Call saying customer support for well mark blue cross our insurance carrier. Said it was a customer support call? Said because of Hipa laws needed my dob. I gave it. Feel like an idiot and probably will have identity theft now.
It looks like this number has been calling since June, according to the first post by Anon.
Anyway, I received a call today. Soon as I answered they hung up. Then right away my friend called, and he said that he had a difficult time getting through. I'm not sure but could be some spy or phone tappers, in addition to taking money from people.

He tried to tell me that he was doing an investigation into check fraud and had a relatives name that he was accusing me and my husband of being. I told him it wasn't us. He kept on saying he was just trying to do his investigation. I said we live in a different state and he wanted my husband's birthday, which I refused to give him. He was very persistent and I ended up telling him I was done talking to him. They haven't called back since.
I answer the phones at my company. Almost all of the calls that came in within the last few days show up with this name and number in the caller id., tradedx.net 646-647-3965. Each one has been a different customer from a different part of the country. Is this company spoofing or piggybacking calls? Our phone lines run through our internet service, could they be phishing through phone lines for contact information on our customers? Anyone with more knowledge about how something like this works please let me know if this is possible.
