Got a call from 646-663-1260. Readout says Unavailable is name of caller. Didn't get to phone in time to answer. Interrupted what I was trying to do at the time. Brought remote phone to computer to look up number. While I was typing this the phone rang again and the readout on phone has no phone number this time. Only Unavailable, Unavailable this time. Tired of this.
This is a voice activated response recording. It's pretty good as it sounds like your actually talking to a person. Chris Harris and a Stephanie with female version of same scam. I do not have any payday loans either and have blocked over 15 different numbers but they spoof new numbers faster than I can block them. This is more than frustrating, if it were a live person I might have had a chance to stop them!
I've received several calls from this number. I called the number back using *67 and the voice greeting announces "Welcome to the $100 Walmart Gift Voucher Hotline". Not sure if they're legitimate or not as I chose not to continue the call. I have however sent an email to Walmart via their "contact us" page asking to either verify that this is a legitimate vendor authorized to do business with Walmart or indicating that they may need to take appropriate legal action. Hopefully they'll respond.
Just got the phone call. Identified himself as Chris Harris and wanted to help me get rid of my high interest payday loans. When I told him I have never had a payday loan of any sort, he hung up on me.
