Spoof/Spam/Robot Caller. They either want SS# or full or partial. Credit Card # for contest you never entered. That contest doesn't even exist. Any & all information to use abuse. There accent and obvious questions give them away
These people have been calling for the last 4 days. Today, August 27, 2016 at around 2:00 pm, I'd blocked my number and called them which is under the name of Monica Vargas, but calls to them aren't allowed because a recording that says "I'm sorry, but the person you called has a voice mailbox that hasn't been setup yet. Goodbye." prevents it and automatically disconnects. First, they're Indian (from India, Asia minor as their accent proves it), and want to refer me to a supplier of a medical knee brace through Medi-Care. They also want my Medi-Care number whether the last 4 or the complete number or the full Social Security number. Somehow they were accessing some system that confirms or denies a person's information of which none of the information that I'd provided showed them...DUH REALLY???? I didn't give them anything else other than info like height, weight, etc, but wanted to confirm what they'd already had WHICH WAS ALL COMPLETELY FAKE from name, address, date of birth, etc including the last 4 of my Medi-Care number. I NEVER, EVER PROVIDE ANY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION TO ANYONE IRREGARDLESS OF WHOM THEY CLAIM TO BE AS THESE INTERNET TELEPHONE NUMBERS CAN BE CUSTOMIZED TO SHOW ANYTHING ON CallerID, SO YOU (EVERYONE) SHOULD NEVER EVER PROVIDE ANYTHING TO PERSONALLY IDENTIFY YOU. unknown caller from New York at 8:35 am pacific coast time--no message left--I did not return the call. I think of these kinds of calls as fishers--I never take the bait. don't answer don't reply
They called, didn't leave a msg and I BLOCKED them. I block all first time callers that don't leave a msg and I do not recognize the number. No repeat phone call problems at all.
