Just happened to me.... So i called the number back. A man answer the phone and I asked what company did I call and he hung up in my face. I called back and he refused to answer the phone. Please be aware that if you receive an automated message from the IRS it is a scam. All IRS correspondence will be in writing
Same thing as above. Final notice from US Treasury that received legal petitions of tax fraud against me and need to call them before federal claims court house or before I get arrested to call them at 646-798-0628. I had one of these before, and when I called them back, they were just trying to scare me into giving them credit card info. I knew it was bull and definitely a pretty big scam for sure.
Yeah, theyve called me twice. I make up stories that I work for the government too. If you sound confident and have a decent story, they will hang up scared pretty quick. If the irs wants to talk to you, they wont call with a,recorded message. They will send you mail relentlessl. You'll know its them.
Get calls 3 days in an a row, same guy same voice, 3 different numbers... hello Internal revenue service... lol... told him to leave me alone and get a wife to have fun with...
Just got a call from this #. Auto voice claiming this.. I copied the transcript:
“Against your name ignoring this would be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before the magistrate judge or exempt jury for a federal criminal offense so before this matter goes to Federal claims court house or before you get arrested kind call us back on our number as soon as possible the number to reach us is _____________ let me repeat the number 646-798-0628 hope to hear from you soon before the charges are pressed against you thank you…”
Funny I've never had any issues EVER with the IRS or any other federal office. I love the fact it's an automated voice. The government will never call you. They send letters!! Dumbass scammers
