I say kudos to you I'm glad you did it and I'm glad that you were able to stop him from calling other people and scamming them into giving their information thank you so much for this information cuz my mother and just got a call from those exact same number which as we all know is a recording but I'm glad that you did this help me out and I hope it helps millions of others
Yes you should. However since the calls are coming from India and Pakistan, there isn't much the police can do. However they can notify the community and the media about this scam. Common scam. Been going around for years. People still fall for it. IRS does NOT initiate contact by phone--US mail only.
IRS scam regarding an audi on my account. said they were going to send the "coach" to pick me up. I said find, I was at home. hung up. call 2 - 3 times a day from different numbers.
