Received the same call. 4 allegations, blah blah blah. Interestingly, I received a similar call yesterday from a different number in Washington DC. I kept trying to pull information from the guy and finally demanded to speak to his supervisor. He promptly hung up!
I received a call from this number. The"agent" advised me that I owed 6k in back taxes and that there was a criminal arrest warrant pending. He then proceeded to ask if I had a bank account. He then gave me the option to handle this out of court or hire an attorney. I knowing I have paid my taxes said I would hire an attorney. He then told me my bank accounts would be emptied and frozen and my drivers license would be suspended. He stated I would be picked up and taken into custody and jailed for 90 days. I asked is that it. He got silent and said yes and told me I could disconnect the call. Before I disconnected he called me derogatory names. I called back after googling the number and asked for an address for my attorney to send a cease and desist order. I got a new person who of course tried the same tactics. I told her I was going to report her to the real IRS and disconnected the call. No address given. Bottom line..SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
