They just called me, and Sallie Mae is CONSTANTLY calling from weird numbers. They have called from this Manhattan area code as well before, so I assume it was them. Is anyone else expecting calls from Sallie Mae? I just assume it's them...
Yes, Sallie Mae has been calling me from 3 or 4 different numbers, including "unknown" and this number. What's annoying is they are calling for my daughter, who doesn't live with me anymore. I keep telling them they have the wrong number, and I hang up, and they keep calling! Can I report them for harassment?
They are not from Sallie Mae! They said my account was delinquent, then asked for my social security number. When I asked which loan was late, the lady supposedly couldn't tell me, until I gave her my social security number. She then asked if I was born in 1979, which I was not. I didn't give this woman my info. I checked my account online and then called Sallie Mae. The number on the website is not the same as this number. The representative of Sallie Mae said that my account was not delinquent.
