They sent my 10-year old daughter's cell phone this recorded message as well. So this is completely bogus. A lawsuit to begin with , including IRS on a child is never going to happen. Its a scam.
Guess they're making the rounds this week. I got the voicemail tonight. Half of it was cut off, but it said something about a "legal allegation", followed by their phone number.
I received a recorded message from "IRS" saying that a lawsuit was filed against me and an unbailable warrant has been issued and I need to call 646-844-7603 immediately. #scam #irs
Got the same call but from number 646-844-8218 - SCAM!!!! be aware!!!! They want me to pay them $500 to hire a lawyer because I own money, but they do not even knew my name!!!!!!
