I received another call from them today so what I've decided to do is forward their number to another scam call that way I won't have to take up another slot on my block call list and they will be really annoyed. They did call later and were forwarded to another scammer I think it's a great idea if you need another scammer's number to do this just search this site there are plenty. I'm doing this with any scam call I receive going forward I bet after a while I stop getting these calls.
Just freaked me out. That's all!!!!! I pray to God it's not real. checked my bank accounts, Money isn't frozen. Told me to go check with PD to check on the warrant.
Okay....so I didn't answer this call. I never answer the phone for a number that I am no familiar with. So I checked the voicemails and was told that I will have to appear before the magistrate judge or jury for federal criminal offense. Does all this sound familiar? Thank you.
Yes all this sounds familiar. Same threats different scammers. They are not going to arrest you or come to your work/home/school with an officer. They are trying to scare you into giving them money. Do not give them any money. Report them to the FTC it's easy to do on-line Whatever you do don't give these people any money.
Don't let these people scare you that's what they are trying to do scare you into giving you money. Do not give them a dime they are trying to scam you. Report them to the FTC and ignore or block the calls. A legitimate collector will contact you by mail first. If they call you they do not threaten you into paying. You cannot be arrested for a debt so DO NOT give these people a dime of your money.
Beau I'm sure believe me I've been getting calls like this on and off for years. The people use scare tactics to get you to give them money don't do it. Look up telephone scams on-line got to the FTC web-site and read about the scams reported there. Trust me ths is a scam.
