I received another call from them today so what I've decided to do is forward their number to another scam call that way I won't have to take up another slot on my block call list and they will be really annoyed. They did call later and were forwarded to another scammer I think it's a great idea if you need another scammer's number to do this just search this site there are plenty. I'm doing this with any scam call I receive going forward I bet after a while I stop getting these calls.
DON'T RESPOND!!! 1 646 844 6896 caller id says New York. probably not. recording stating the same as other callers, house being watched and we are going to be arrested. I just happened to be standing by the phone otherwise it was a tail end message on my recorder and I would have erased it anyway. This was a recording by a woman with a bad accent, talked right over my recording telling her we couldn't answer now. Didn't identify herself, just said this was her direct line to call back. They probably have a rotating call recording that randomly plays so there are different callers trying to scare people. If they are the IRS they have a multi digit ID that they have to give you along with their name before they talk with you. People who do respond will be too scared to think of that. IRS sends letters with their number for you to call, not call you out of the blue. Check the "Who calls you" site also for the same scam information on this number.
Received automated message from 646-844-7679 that says ..."the IRS has issued an arrest warrant against you know right now you and your physical property those are being monitored and it's very important that I do hear back from you as soon as possible before we proceed further in any legal matter thank you…”
I'm sure if you call they are going to ask you a series of questions (as if they are irs)like your dob and ss# and will want you to submit a "small" amount of money via credit card. They will ask for your card number and exp date and 3 digit security code.
Or maybe these are the people who get people to go buy Apple gift cards and send them the numbers.

Recording saying that its the IRS and I need call this number 646-844-5985 asap or a lawzuit and I would be arressted. I lnew scam so I caled them a a man with accent answered IRS. I said this is a scam and he said bye bye.
