I got the same call. Talking about I would be arrested if I didn't call back to handle this matter with the IRS. I called back, while listening to his b.s. I googled the phone number and found the above message. I told them they were full of crap and hung up. All the background noise during the phone call and the man who you could barely understand due to his accent (although he had a common American name...Jay Williams) did not at all sound like he was legit. I entertained his nonsense long enough to research the number. Complete idiots. Do Not Fall For This Scam!
received Cll this morning- claiming I must call 510-257-4287 or I will arrested . Called back both numbers ( hiding my caller ID) and they were both voicemail machines after a lengthy ring. These type of calls need to be seriously reported to the authorities as vulnerable people can be sucked in by this type of stressful scam.
Same message threaten with Jail. called the number back from the message 510-257-4287. Spoke to officer who knows couldn't understand him, he couldn't understand me either. Which I offered some pleasantries and he responded with F@#1 You, you Son of B!tch. I than told him Not Today ISIS NOT Today. Than he started speaking in tongues and hung up on me.......... Complete Scam.
Left a voicemail threatening me with jail if I don't call them back. Stating it was the IRS. Blocked the number. Is anyone in our government going to do anything about these calls. I am on the no call list but it doesn't seem to help

Call to demand immediate payment, nor will we call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill..
Demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe.
Require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card.
Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.
Threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.
Which is exactly what these idiots from this number did :-/
