got this call just a few minutes ago from "Officer Sharon Stone" batch #4874 stating to call 510-257-4287 to avoid charges being pressed for tax fraud. Thanks to all who have posted about this number-saved me the time and frustration of calling back. BTW...the number called was a business
1-646-849-5289 came in as a New York call the message was regarding Tax Fraud facing federal crime offense and asked to
call (1-510-257-4287) located in Freemont California.
I just received a call from 646 849 5289 from
female who said IRS do not ignore this msg.
Said her name was Sharon Stone badge
# 4874 and told me if I did not call this
# 203 463 2410 right away I would go to
jail for tax fraud. This was a recording. Said
I would have to appear in court. What is this?
I got the same message from this fake IRS scam. However the call-back # they left was (203) 463-2410. That's from Bridgeport Connecticut. I tried calling them, but after 2 rings there was a voicemail machine and no identifying info.
I received the same voice mail today, said they were from the Federal Claims Courthouse and that I have committed a federal offense and that I'm going to be arrested. I live in NC and have not been to NY, which is where the number is coming from.
