Recorded message stating they were the IRS and they were trying to get in contact with me. Said please contact 646-859-2697. Scam Call. I reported this to the IRS Phishing investigations.
They called and left a message: To get more information try to reach on our immediate department number which is 646-859-2697. I repeat 646-859-2697. Thank you on my answering machine. When I called back I was told they are an investigating firm for the IRS and his name was "Officer Smith", when I said that this was not the IRS but in fact a scam caller, he hung on me.

My taxes are paid. This is truly a scam call trying to steal and pilfer what they can... good luck scum!
