The caller said: "Can I speak to the owner?"
Really!?!? How many owners sit around wutg nothing better to do than take unsolicited sales calls??? If there is a service or products out there I'm in need of... I'm going to seek it out.
My point is that the whole cold calling bs is such a waste of time.
The amount of time I waste weekly fielding and rejecting these calls has gone beyond annoying.
I receive call from this number from time to time. as mention above, they don't leave message.
I would like to comment on Cold calls & telemarketers; I hate getting telemarketer call as much as anybody. That said, I would like to share an experience with you,
I have a niece, she is very kind, nice, pretty, and ambitious, she wanted very much to be normal - like her brother and sisters; she wanted very much to be loved, she wanted to be accepted by her peers. . Unfortunately, she has some physical handicap and ...well ...a bit of slow learner. Try as hard as she might; she can not get a job. until one day, she walk in the house, with a giant - gleaming smile ... a smile so bright it light up the darkest room in the house, at last, she found a job. -Yes, it is telemarketing - the only job she can get. A dirty, stinging job, long hours and low pay, a job none of us would consider, not glamorous by any yard stick of measurement. However, to her, that is a major accomplishment. The job; gave her a ray of hope, it raise her self esteem ...it give her a reason to LIVE. she work 7 days a week, long hours beyond human endurance, her merger pay barely cover rent.
Now, I am lot more sympathetic to telemarketer. I still don't like them calling me... but I understand they had to do what they have to do to make a living. I hope you too be a little sympathetic, a little kinder, No need to chew them out, You don't have to buy anything, just understand their plight.
