Called asking for my boss by first name, said it was a follow-up business call. Heavily accented female voice. I asked who she was, and she gave me a first name. I asked who she worked for and she hung up.
Had a call from this number line was full of static. Male on the other end with a thick accent (Indian probably) identified himself as "Sam Sparks" with the Wall Street Journal. Wanted me to take a survey about stock trading. I declined and hung up abruptly. He called back in what seemed like less time than it would take to dial my number manually and said the survey is only three questions. I hung up again and that was the end of it.
